Meet Bianca - Frontend Developer in Markedspartner

Bianca works as a frontend developer, leveraging her combined experience to strengthen the bond between the design and development teams at Markedspartner. We sat down with her to learn what a typical day as a developer looks like.

"I have set routines and often work with technologies I'm familiar with, but with various projects and clients, the work remains highly diverse, and I never do the same job twice. We develop solutions for both large international companies and smaller businesses, so I get to try my hand at a lot of different tasks. In a typical day, I attend meetings, develop websites, and pair-program with others on my team. Every Monday, our department creates a priority list of the clients and tasks we aim to complete that week. This makes it easy to anticipate how the day will look without being completely locked in," Bianca explains.

"Next, I identify which tasks I might need help with and find a partner to collaborate with. Collaboration and asking questions are highly encouraged at Markedspartner. If there’s something I excel at, I bring in others who need help, and vice versa. Our approach is that the more experienced person explains while the other does the programming. This way, you learn incredibly fast, and we share our knowledge with each other," she adds.

Examples of the technologies we use include Umbraco, the ASP.NET stack, Bootstrap, C#, JavaScript, and SQL, with our main stack being Microsoft and Azure. You don’t need to know all these languages to work here; there’s a strong emphasis on learning. We use HubSpot as our CRM, so all new developers need to get familiar with it. However, Markedspartner is excellent at providing training, education, and courses, so that’s not an issue. In our profession, you’re never fully trained, so I encourage anyone considering a career as a developer to apply to become my new colleague," Bianca concludes.
